Who builds a home during a pandemic?!? We did! It was a challenging year navigating unprecedented cost of materials and delayed deliveries, but we are now welcoming you to be our guests and appreciate the fruits of our labor.

Beachfront with use of 2 kayaks on Northern Pond - the ideal swimming hole.

1st floor includes a roomy screened entry porch and outdoor shower, entryway, laundry room, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath with tub/shower.

2nd floor includes open concept living room, dining room and kitchen with pantry and half bath plus a huge deck with view of the Pamlico Sound.

3rd floor includes a enormous suite with spa room, walk in shower and soaking tub, and private deck with the same magnificent water view. Plus there is another 1/2 bath and cozy den for movie nighttime, bunk beds and access to the spiral staircase to the roof.

Rooftop includes a deck with seating for sun bathing and star gazing.

About the Area

Located in Ocracoke, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Hatteras Landing Marina and Teach's Lair Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Springer's Point Preserve. Traveling with kids? Consider Ocracoke Pony Pens and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.
