- Private vacation home
This two-story waterfront townhouse is the ideal place to relax and take in the extraordinary sunset vistas over Pamlico Sound. Located on a modest side road off Silver Lake Road this property has private decks and simple water access providing an ideal place for your event to launch personal watercraft and discover the island. The docking here is shallow and only accepts shallow watercrafts. Both the downstairs living area and upstairs master bedroom are open to the view of the sound, where one can appreciate lazily watching boats and ferries going to and from the mainland. Upon entering this unit, you are greeted by a elegant hand painted mural that leads you to the second floor. The huge second bedroom upstairs is great for families needing a kids’s room, having a pyramid bunk bed, queen-sized bed, and a twin bed. The master bedroom upstairs has a private bathroom and private deck access. This Saturday turn day property does not provide linens or towels, please inquire about rental options.

Getting the best rental experience:
Get the most from your vacation rental budget:
- To find the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts offer special rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, management companies supply Ocracoke area visitor guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Ocracoke visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Make a plan and choose the rightvacation home:
- First, have your family commit to the best dates and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Water's View: Waterfront Ocracoke Townhome has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Are you visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
- Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
Have a wonderful stay:
- Get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- Make a record of any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if a dispute arises.
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Be respectful. Often times, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a great time? Most rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
