Well-appointed, bright, family-friendly, Ocracoke Island home. Relaxed. Simple. A comfortable getaway for a couple or modest family.

Located on a dead-end street, this home sits on six tons near the end of Ocean View Road with a giant grassy yard and shady cedar trees. The kids can ride their bicycles and run around outside. You can sit and watch the sunrise while birds dart and sing. Step out onto the porch at nighttime in a neighborhood with little light pollution and look up at the magnificence of the heavens above.

Centrally located, it’s an painless walk to the Village and for those that savor cycling about a 15 min. bicycle ride to the Lifeguard Beach. Walk to the grocery store, the ice cream parlor, many eateries, and coffee stores for a delicious frothy fix. Biking and walking are the best way to travel around Ocracoke Village.

Getting the most from your budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in Ocracoke. To get the most suitable rental within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Ocracoke attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Ocracoke vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.

  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
